For Love or Money: The K-Fed Custody Drama

Just the other day we reported on K-Fed and his interest in getting custody of his two children with pop tart and celebrity disaster, Britney Spears. Today, sources have revealed to TMZ that money could be the real motive for K-Feds custody plans, not the actual kids.

While Kevin is playing the concerned and loving father, sources are saying that Kev has had no contact with Brit Brit for the last three month and she’s been begging him to talk to her for the kids, but he’s not falling for her game.

According to the sources, Kevin’s camp has several declarations from Kevin, the lawyers, a nanny that Brit interviewed at one point, and Kevin’s nanny (they didn’t specify if it was actually his nanny or the nanny he hired for kids). Several magazine articles concerning Britney were also included in the package. Of course, it is likely that the magazine articles will not be admissible in any court in America.

Alli Sims, Britney’s cousin and personal assistant was served papers concerning a deposition over the weekend. Apparently, Federline’s lawyer is interested in taking Brit’s deposition too, but Alli claims that Britney’s deposition is all financial in nature. Apparently, when it comes to Brit it is more important to find out about the money and less important to find out about the kids.

Sources for Federline claim that it’s exactly the opposite. They claim he cares all about the kids and nothing about the money. However, Mark Vincent Kaplan, Kevin’s lawyer is requesting that the legal fees are covered by Brit, and for the record, he doesn’t come cheap.
