Timberlake May Take his Box to the Emmys

Once upon on a time, on Saturday Night Live, back in December to be exact, Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg dressed up to look like the guys from Wham and sang a song that people were not likely to forget anytime soon. The song and the skit during SNL, “Dick in a Box” is up for an Emmy. As if that was cool enough on its own, JT and Samberg might be on stage to sing that little ditty live during the Emmy’s at the LA Shrine Auditorium. The question is…will the network let them do it?If you haven’t seen the skit, check out the video of it below. It’s obviously got some fans, but there are people who do not appreciate the humor in lyrics like….”One…cut a hole in the box…Two…put your junk in that box…” and “Midday at the grocery store a dick in a box”. In fact, when it aired on SNL they bleeped out dick nearly 20 times and they still got complaints.The Emmys will air on Fox and they have yet to comment as to whether they have given the final go ahead.
