The movie Valkyrie is being filmed in Germany. Recently much press has been given to this film because of the Germans skeptical view of Scientologists like Tom Cruise. However, this has nothing to do with the Germans and Tom Cruise. This does have something to do with the movie set Cruise is on though. Apparently eleven people were injured after falling off the back of a moving truck.
The eleven men fell because a side panel shot open as the truck went around a corner on Sunday evening. One of the people was seriously injured. The incident has caused filming to break for the time being.
Police said that they do not believe anyone famous was involved in the accident. Meanwhile I am still trying to figure out if that statement makes the accident less of a thing to worry about. Oh well, it wasn’t anyone famous! The police are not sure if the accident will cause serious shooting problems or not.
Cruise stars in Valkyrie as Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg. The Colonel is at the front of a group of military conspirators who try (and fail) to assassinate Adolf Hitler in July 1944.
