Two Princes Set to Marry

People Magazine is reporting that Prince William is planning to propose to Kate Middleton and hopes to use one of his mother Princess Diana’s rings to do so. Meanwhile, Prince Harry is reported as already proposing to girlfriend Chelsy Davy during a safari retreat in Botswana.

The magazine claims that the Prince will be proposing to Middleton in the next few weeks. As he is certain his mother would have approved of his girlfriend, he has asked for permission to use one of her rings to honor both his late mother and possible future wife. In order to get the ring for use, he had to ask his uncle, Earl Spencer for the ring.

Sources have stated that William is positive of his mother’s approval and that, “He approached his uncle to see what he thought of the idea.” The source goes on to say that the use of one of Diana’s rings is the highest symbol of his love that Prince William can think to give. This will be the ultimate symbol to show how important Kate is to him. According to the source, “It will also keep his mother’s memory to the fore on his big day.” The union, if Kate were to say yes, would bring together the two most important women in William’s life.

The couple is currently vacationing, but sources believe the proposal will not be coming for a few weeks and will most likely take place where their romance started.
