How can this be? Your guess is as good as mine, but life is pretty decent if you’re Lindsay Lohan. She was caught with cocaine twice and she took cocaine into a correctional facility. So, that’s about three felony convictions right there. Yet in two different counties, District Attorneys are considering dropping the charges.
Possible charges could be filed tomorrow, but sources informed TMZ that they are considering rejecting the felony charges. According to these sources, the D.A. will almost certainly not file the cocaine charges from the DUI bust that occurred on Memorial Day Weekend in Beverly Hills.
Lohan must have luck on her side because the D.A. in Santa Monica is considering dropping her cocaine charges that occurred on July 24, as well. If the felony charges are dropped this would leave two misdemeanor DUI charges. Based on laws in California, that would mean a minimum of four days jail time.
Lohan’s lawyer, Blair Berk, has been talking to prosecutors, so it looks like Lohan will only spend a short time in jail if she even gets any time at all, which she probably won’t from the looks of things.
