Britney Has Finally Lost It – Execs Call her “Sick”

Once upon a time, Britney was a true pop princess. Now she’s in the middle of a mental breakdown or at least that’s what it looks like. Spears is being called crazy and a lot of other things by music executives who may have been hoping to actually see a Britney comeback.

These harsh words come off the cuff of Britney refusing to do a duet with one of the hottest singers on the radio today, her ex-boyfriend, Justin Timberlake. Apparently, JT went out of his way to write a song for Britney and Jive Records (her label) was seriously hoping that this would be the song to jumpstart her comeback. Unfortunately, Brit cancelled the recording session.

Insiders who have been talking to Page Six reporters say that everyone is worried about her. They go on to say that people “like her” are sick and they compare her to an anorexic person who is sick in the head. The basic point is that she needs help. The label is still standing behind Britney though at this point one has to assume they are just hoping that Britney will fall out of her mentally crazed funk because she doesn’t appear to have any career waiting for her at this point.

In the meantime, everyone is worried about Britney failing as the opening act at the MTV VMAs and from the looks of things, not even Criss Angel can make her performance magical. Of course, if she behaves as she has been lately the performance is sure to be one that we will never forget, regardless.
