Foxy Brown is in the Clink

In a Manhattan Court, Judge Melissa Jackson, has sentenced Foxy Brown to serve three months in Riker’s Island prison for violating her probation. Brown will be in until her next hearing, which is set to take place on September 7. The judge sent Brown to jail based on recent incidents that had violated her probation stemming from assault charges.

Apparently, Brown was hit unaware by the results of the decision. It is being said that Brown’s attorney was not expecting jail time in this matter. During her time in court, Brown mentioned that she is three months pregnant and has plans of getting married. If this was meant to soften the blow of her violations, it didn’t. Brown was booked and sent with authorities who took her to Riker’s Island immediately after the court’s decision.

According to reports, Brown is being held at the Rose M. Singer Center, which is the women’s jail on the Island. Due to her celebrity status, it is possible that she might be placed in a separate cell and given an escort whenever she leaves her cell.
