Based on reports from TMZ and KSAZ in Phoenix there is some new evidence that has been uncovered in the most current animal cruelty case that is related to a celebrity. Earlier this week I reported that the police had seized 12 dogs from the rapper’s Phoenix area home. However, since then they have found much more than just twelve distressed dogs.
Three dog corpses have been found at the home of the rapper, one of which appears to have been burned. The police also found a large amount of weapons, plenty of cars with non-identifying license plates, and some drug paraphernalia.
You can be sure that DMX isn’t taking the fall for this one though. Apparently, he has decided to blame it on the caretaker. DMX’s lawyer, Murray Richman, spoke to TMZ and informed them that DMZ has not been to his Phoenix home in quite some time. According to the lawyer, DMX has a caretaker handling the estate, and he obviously wasn’t “taking care.” He also said that DMX loves those dogs, not that it means much considering his past track record….or was that a caretaker thing, too?
