Michael Vick Had Rape Stands & His Momma Speaks Out

Michael Vick These days, Michael Vick has become a household name. Whether you like football or the Atlanta Falcons everyone knows who this former player is and it has nothing to do with his game. Last week, Vick admitted to his part in a violent dog fighting ring after his father and others sold him out. Since then the NFL has suspended him indefinitely and have called his actions, “cruel and reprehensible.” He also stands to lose millions of dollars worth of endorsements, such as Nike, which has already cancelled the need for Vick’s services. However, Vick still has one fan in this crazy world. He has his momma, Brenda Vick.

Like a true mother (of someone like Lindsay Lohan), Vick sobbed while being interviewed by the New York Post. A man who is being convicted of dog fighting and owning things like rape stands (used for exactly what you think) for dogs and breaksticks (used to pry apart animals jaws) still has his momma on his side.

“They are trying to put my baby in jail, and for what? Everybody makes mistakes,” she said as she was interviewed from her mansion in Virginia. Better yet, that’s the mansion that her son bought her. “He is not a criminal . . . He’s a good person. He has a big heart, and it just hurts.” Someone needs to tell momma that good people don’t own anything called….rape sticks.

Instead of understanding that her son pled guilty or expecting him to do what’s right and own up to responsibility, Brenda Vick is taking another road. It’s a road that is more traveled than the other option, so I shouldn’t be surprised, but it’s sad to see someone so willing to dismiss cruelty and ignorance without a thought. Vick has decided to blame her estranged husband who she claims has lied about her baby boy. She also states in her interview to the Post that daddy has tried to extort money from her son for drugs. Coincidentally, Vick does pay for his father’s apartment in Atlanta so if he’s trying to extort something, maybe Brenda Vick is right, and her son is a better person then we all know or understand.

She blames her husband for all of her son’s woes claiming that the children saw them fighting and that they saw their father out buying drugs. She also claims that Michael Boddie beat her and the children witnessed that, as well. Too bad this didn’t happen in Los Angeles, Vick could have gotten off with one day in jail (like I’ve had a bad home life Lohan).

It is believed that Vick was the financial backing for Bad Newz Kennels, which was the dog fighting ring that ran near his home. Last April, 66 dogs were removed from Vick’s home, the majority showing serious signs of neglect. While he denied anything to do with dog fighting and originally tried to blame things on his cousin who lived with him, Vick’s has since struck a plea deal that could end his career and send him to prison for up to 18 months or more.

Consequently, the judge in the matter, Henry Hudson, is known for giving tough sentences, and could easily sentence Vick to five years.

Vick will be entering his plea on Monday. At that time he will explain that he conspired to set up the enterprise at his home. He will also admit to agreeing to the killing of up to eight dogs. However, three of the co-defendants in the case say that Vick’s physically participated in the animal murders in which some were hung and others were drowned.

The majority of Vick’s friends have said that they are unaware of the athlete ever mistreating any animals. His sister states that Vick’s has always loved dogs. The family got their first pit bull in 1997 and through a series of events ended up with Vick’s and was taken from his home with the rest of the mistreated animals. Vick’s sister hopes that they can get that dog back. Meanwhile, momma hopes that her baby won’t be going to jail.

“Everybody deserves a second chance,” she said during her interview. She even added that “He has given his life over to God.” This by far impressed me the most. After all, Paris had to enter her cell before she did that!

GOOD he needs to go to jail he is a murder of defenceless animals. I cannot stand people who do such things. You try to hide it and cover your tracks but the truth will always come out. Your Baby should have been a man about things and grew some balls and said this is wrong. He deserves everything he gets. RICH AND FAMOUS people think because they have money that means “SPECIAL” treatment for their actions what is our justice system saying OH let them spend minimum time for their crime and all is well. “SOME JUSTICE”
Guarantee we screw up it’s our ass in the max punishment possible to “SET THE EXAMPLE”
    2 words WHAT EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Terminology:

“Rape” Stand (not rape stick) - more commonly known as the Breeding stand. A tool commonly used to secure an unwilling or hostile female dog, in order to facilitate favorable mating between dogs.

Break stick (not breadstick) - a device made to be inserted in the mouth of a Pit Bull (behind the molars) to gently pry its jaws open and release its grip on another animal or object.

Both of these tools are perfectly legal and are a necessity to anyone who breeds American Pitbull Terriers. Both of these are used by every Kennel that exists, as you will find by simply researching them on Google.
By the way, any responsible Pitbull owner should be familiar with the breakstick, since it is highly recomended that you keep one in your house. Your pet dealer should have told you this when you bought your dog.

    I’ve said my piece.

Thanks for catching that. The source had the name wrong, and they must have gotten comments, too because now they have changed theirs.

I hope no one missed my other point though…
There is NO SUCH THING as a “rape stand”!
What it is called is a BREEDING STAND, and you can buy one right now for $100-$200. It is much cheaper and less complicated than artificial insemenation, and breeders are legally using these across the nation right now.
The media has made up the term “rape stand”, knowing that you would find it much more offensive–using it in association with Vick’s name in order to further demonize him. I’m not sayin what he did was O.K., killing dogs is horrible. But what’s sicker is this ignorant and barbaric hatred that I’m seein’ from everbody. Yall want dude to burn in hell, like he’s just a sick and demented person, forgeting this dude was a humanitarian. He mentored kids, helped keep them in school and away from drugs, helped alot of families get on their feet, and I for one am not gonna disregard the good things he’s done for humans because of the bad things he’s done to dogs.
So what he did is wrong, very wrong. Let him serve his time, let him learn his lesson, and then let him be. Jesus.

    NOW I’ve said my piece.

Humanitarian? C’mon, seriously. That’s a pretty big stretch. It’s about as big as the people who want him to burn in hell. Humanitarians do not knowingly give people herpes, which Vick was sued for and settled the case rather than having it go more public than it did.

What he did was wrong. He should be punished and he should not be allowed to be in a position where he could be a role model for a child. Gray areas aside, millionaire athletes should have better things to do with their time besides murdering animals and betting on dog fights.

::Please don’t comment on this before reading it in its entirety::
I’m not sayin he didn’t mess up from time to time; i.e. the herpes scandal, the weed (sex and drugs—typical celebrity issues). So what? And who’s to really say what rich people oughta do with their time? Some play golf, some get drunk and high, some write books, some cheat on their wives, some have wild orgy parties, some paint, and some build model airplanes. Now what Vick did was a felony; a huge embarrassment to the organizations he represented, and for THAT he should be punished. But let me add some perspective.
About Dog fighting: From what I know (from life and from doing some research), Dog fighting is not all about killing and torturing dogs, though that is in fact part of it–hear me out. Most of the original Pitbulls were bred for the sole purpose of fighting, before it was banned in 1937. But even throughout the 20th century they were trained in a similar fashion so they could be effective guard dogs. To digress, I knew a dude, Marquis, who bred Pits. He didn’t fight them, but he’s told me stories of how bold, savage, and competitive they were in the kennels: bangin’ their heads against a cage to the point of bleeding, in attempts to get at a dog in another cage. See, unless you train it otherwise, it’s the nature of a dog to be aggressive. It may seem twisted to you, but alot of people identify with that kind of raw, savage fire of competition. That’s the premise of any bloodsport going back to Gladiator fights, sword fighting duels, Bull fighting, Gun duels in the Wild West… People today consider these to be barbaric, and say “we’ve progressed past all that”, but it remains that bloodthirsty competition is an undeniable part of the human spirit. (If you think not, go to tha movies.) Its about exploiting the fragile nature of life. It’s about the brutal struggle for existence. Its about survival of the fittest. Its about creating legends.
I submit to you that dog fighting is merely an extreme case of this. You see, champion dogs become legends too. They become Sires, used for breeding the strongest and noblest of dogs. The puppies in their bloodlines cost thousands more, distinguishing them from other litters—even in the lawful world of Pits. Sure, many aspects of dog fighting are shocking: If anything, the way they execute the weaker dogs is unnecessarily sick and cruel to me—the drowning and hanging and such. But for people who wouldn’t dare incriminate themselves by buying euthanization fluids; is their any cheaper, less gory way to terminate a dog? Now when it comes to the pain and killing of other animals (i.e. to get our veal, beef, pork, animal skin for certain shoes, jackets, couches, and car-seats; not to mention for recreation), no one is ever vilified in particular. But when it comes to “Man’s best friend”; and a certain dark-skinned, rags-to-riches, super talented, multi-million dollar athlete, they scream: “Crufify him! Cruficy him! Make dog chew toys out of him! Teach our children to hate him, for all eternity! Everyone join us in our righteous hatred of this evil man! All who defend him are crazy and ignorant! His mother is crazy and ignorant for defending him!…”
And need I bring up his ‘guilty by suspicion’ plight? The jury in the court of public opinion came back dead-locked before any hints of a trial. Just like the good ole days, ain’t it? Lynch him, why don’tcha—since he did it to dogs, right?
Let me make this clear: Personally, I wouldn’t train my dog and put it in fights. After putting all my love, patience, and money into a dog, I would never risk its life and throw all that away. But if another man wants to fight his dog, I could really care less. It’s not my dog. And they’re just that: dogs. animals. Not children, not people, lovable though they may be, still, animals. Other animals include: Rabbits, chickens, rats, squirrels, snakes, fish… Given; dog fighting is ILLEGAL, so anyone caught participating deserves jail time; but not as monsters and psychopaths. Of course a number of them are probably sick-minded people, but definitely not all of them are, and I don’t count Vick in that number. I’m willing to grant that his was a crime of insensitivity and carelessness, tied with pressure from his friends in the dog fighting world.
Look. Michael Vick never intentionally harmed anyone know I know of ( except maybe that girl he gave herpes), no violent crimes on his record, never stole from anybody, he was a highly respectable player until recently, he gave credit where due, he volunteered for years as a spokesman for the Boys & Girls Club and the Empty Stocking Fund in Atlanta, he was the salvation of the Falcons from their low profile status, and he’s had to deal with the most pressure anyone can be asked to endure in a lifetime. He went from eating Spam sandwiches to being the NFL’s most valuable player, and it was his strong competitive spirit that got him to the top. Every hero has a deplorable flaw. Dog fighting was his-shame on him for that. But now here come the media to make a killing of it all in ratings.
Talk about a dog eat dog world…

First of all dogfighting is a felony in this country. These dogs are bred to be vicious fighters by people who are obviously at the low end of the scale when it comes to morals. If Michael Vick mentored so many children that supposedly needed his mentoring ,I wonder if he really cared if any of them were mauled to pieces by a Pit Bull bred genetically to kill. Anything can trigger a Pit Bull to become aggressive once they are bred and trained. Many of them are pitched out on the streets and others get loose. They can bite through a fence, or wire cage very easily. Look at the number of children in the United States alone that have been mauled by Pit Bulls. The children who survive the attacks have as many as 6o surgeries just to piece a face back together. And then there are more surgeries necessary to attempt to reattach limbs etc.And basically they have a life long disability because someone likes to watch dogs kill each other. Needless to say the pain is incomprehensible and the money spent on the surgeries is more than Michael Vick earns. You, the taxpayer, will most likely pay a big part of the billion dollar surgery costs.I doubt that you are a psychiatrist and really don’t have the skills to diagnose the level of Michael Vick’s mental health, but you have deemed him mentally sound anyway.I guess he just looks and acts of sound mind to you. Nor do you have the list of his sexual encounters for the last 14 years. He just happened to get caught by one of them because she was a health care worker and obviously was more aware of diseases plus was more aware of her rights. Did Michael Vick ever volunteer to sit with some of these children that go through surgeries necessary to rebuild their faces and to reattach limbs.Did he ever volunteer to pay for any of the surgeries? And his mother didn’t sit through any of the surgeries with these babies either. All she talks about is the sorrow and trials of her baby, “ookie”. I noticed the other day that about 7 of Michael Vick’s dogs were being photographed. Of course he has never called to ask about them. The dogs are becoming territorial now because they have been held in the same place for several weeks. So aggressive behaviors are beginning to take form. Most have gained 10 lbs. Some were wagging their tails in spite of the horrendous abuse they endured. They looked a lot happier than Michael Vick and really had very few days of a comfortable life and will soon be put to death. Even if he serves any prison time at all, he will still be a millionaire when he exits prison and will have a full life ahead of him.He will certainly have more money than you will ever have and more money than the average American that finds cures for diseases, teaches children, takes care of patients in hospitals etc. will ever have. It might be a little come down from his present lifestyle, but it won’t be anything close to what his dogs endured.

More and more the professional athletes are exposed for what they really are……hoodlums and criminals with superior athletic ability. Michael Vick just decided to commit his crimes with live animals instead of guns, drugs, knives, or gambling. He is a low life and that is that. no one on here can give one good solid reason for dog fighting and how it benefits society….can they?
