Amy’s In Laws want you to Just Say No

Amy and Blake Winehouse Amy Winehouse is becoming more popular than Paris Hilton these days. Alright, well maybe not, but she’s definitely the cause of more interesting news. Today this news comes from Amy’s in laws. Blake’s parents want you and all other Winehouse listeners to boycott the singer’s music. The goal is to send the message that her obvious addiction is not okay and that her behavior is not excusable.

Blake’s parents, Giles and Georgette Fielder-Civil were on Five Live, a BBC Radio show this morning. They spoke about how they believe Amy and Blake are both addicted to drugs. They feel the couple are in denial about their addictions and fear that they will not stop their behavior. Georgette said that Blake would be upset with her for speaking out publically about the couple’s issues, but she heard that they will not get help.

Giles, Blake’s father went as far to say that he thinks that if one dies, the other will die. The couple is incredibly close and Blake’s parents fear that if one dies due to substance abuse, the other will commit suicide.
