Down with Martha or So the Song Goes

Martha StewartMartha Stewart might love the little village where she lives enough to trademark the name, but the village residents around her in Ketonah do not share her enthusiasm. Well, they might about living there, but definitely not about her owning rights to the name. Recently resident Marc Black created a music video to show his feelings about the idea of Stewart trademarking the name. Now, the Advanced Placement Band is getting in on things according to Page Six.

The band has created a tribute song with Stewart in mind and the lyrics go a little something like this:

“K-Town doesn’t need Martha Stewart Living
Or any of the bad press that you’ve been giving
You preheat our ovens for bagels and lox
I hope they don’t burn to a crisp like your stocks.”

Ouch. That had to hurt on some level.
