Perhaps if comedian Eddie Griffin would have just been saying naughty words he wouldn’t have been removed from the stage. However, at the Black Enterprise Magazine function where he was performing, the excessive use of the N-word got him booted and forced his performance to end early.
Andrew Wadium is a spokesperson for the magazine and he states, “We believe that ending the performance was the appropriate action.” The AP attempted a call to Griffin’s reps but no calls were returned.
Meanwhile, Reverend Al Sharpton left a message on the National Action Website that, “expressed gratitude that the nation’s pre-eminent magazine for African Americans stands behind the effort of National Action Network in getting rid of the N-word.”
