The nominations for the best new artist meant there was going to be a fierce competition. It’s easy to see why these people were chosen. I might have left a couple of these people out, but the majority of the group deserves the nominations they received. I have one or two that I was stuck between.
The artists nominated were:
Lily Allen
Gym Class Heroes
Peter Bjorn & John
Carrie Underwood
Amy Winehouse
The winner of Best New Artist went to the music group Gym Class Heroes and one of their videos is listed here for your pleasure. The group was going nuts as were all the fans all around them. Jamie Foxx and Jennifer Garner presented the award and he was so crazy on stage that she forgot what the hell she was doing. She kept calling the award “Best New Group” and then she called the group, “Gym Class Fall Out”.

I mean come on these guys are great!
Yea, Lilly Allen is great but she already won other awards and Carrie Underwood has won A LOT already. &the other artist just had a one hit wonder. But I’m hella happy GCH won!
