Kanye West and Britney Were Exploited by MTV

People Magazine is reporting that Kanye West had even more to say about MTV and the VMAs this morning when he spoke to DJ JJ at Z100 in New York on the air this morning. Kanye was heard having a little fit last night when he came out of the awards empty handed. However, this morning he wasn’t just talking about himself. He also spoke about his thoughts on Britney.

Kanye said, “They exploited Britney in helping to end her career. When Britney was opening, near the end, I felt so bad for her. I said, ‘Man, it’s a dirty game. This game will chew you up and spit you out.’”

The rapper went on to say that he would never work with MTV again. He stated that it had little to do with lack of awards and more to do with the fact that he felt betrayed. During the interview he said,

“I wasn’t mad that I just didn’t win any awards. For me, MTV made it seem like performing on the main stage was a bad thing, and the suites were just so great. It was my dream when I made ‘Stronger’ to open up the VMAs with a real power performance. And I just feel like I got betrayed by them. I feel like they tried to make it seem like I was so into everything that was going on in the show.”

However it gets worse for Kanye when it comes to what went down at the VMAs. He also has a beef with Pamela Anderson’s performance. Anderson came on to announce Kanye’s performance. When on stage, Anderson said, “One of the best times I’ve ever had was making out with this next performer in the middle of the desert. I think I had my tongue so far down his throat I could taste his fiancée – and I might need a repeat performance later tonight.”

To this, Kanye said, “I’m engaged and I feel like it’s disrespectful to my relationship.” He also says the Network assured him something like this would not happen. JJ called out West for his blunt talk against the music network.

Kanye’s response to that was simple. “I have a connection in the fans’ heart that the press can’t stop.”
