Britney Needs American Idol to Save her Career

As her single tanks and radio stations won’t touch her music (or at least her new music) Britney Spears has a musical future that is looking very bleak. However, American Idol thinks that they can change things for tone deaf, out of synch (lip synch, that is) Britney. Simon Cowell feels that getting her away from her stupid friends will help to bring back her career. Cowell believes that after a ratings boosting MTV performance (as awful as it was) she can turn her career around.

At this point, it is unclear if Randy, Paula, and Simon want Britney to join the judges panel or compete in the competition. Can you imagine how hard it would be for Britney to be a contestant? She could be the Sanjaya of season seven!
