Emmy Awards: Outstanding Lead Actor In A Miniseries Or A Movie - Robert Duvall

Robert DuvallThis one is going to be a guess for me. While I have had the pleasure of seeing all of these actors in other productions, I have yet to see any of these miniseries or movies. Based on the talent and the plots that are available here, I am going to go with my heart on this one and give it to William H. Macy who played Clyde Umney & Sam Landry on Nightmares & Dreamscapes.

Broken Trail • AMC • Robert Duvall as Prentice “Print” Ritter
Jesse Stone: Sea Change • CBS • Tom Selleck as Jesse Stone
Longford • HBO • Jim Broadbent as Lord Longford
Nightmares & Dreamscapes: From The Stories Of Stephen King • Umney’s Last Case • TNT •
William H. Macy as Clyde Umney & Sam Landry
The Ron Clark Story • TNT • Matthew Perry as Ron Clark

Winner: Robert Duvall

Thoughts: This is Duvall’s first win. He looked amazing in his suit, which was black with a silver-grey tie. He thanked everyone from AMC on down that involved the project he won the Emmy for. The music playing pushed him along and got him off the stage.

Congratulations! Robert deserves it. He should have received one years ago for Lonesome Dove.

He was just entered into the Family Forest Project®
this week. He reminds me of one of my great -grandfathers too!
