Direction is a pretty important award because without good direction you end up with shows that suck. Keeping in that in mind, for comedy I am guessing Ugly Betty has this one. For drama I am going with The Sopranos and for variety program I am giving it to American Idol. The others I am looking forward to seeing the winners though I have no idea of the show quality for any of the shows.
