Winner: Broken Trail

Thoughts: Queen Latifah came out to honor the cast of Roots, who actually gave out the award for Outstanding Miniseries. Queen Latifah looked absolutely fabulous in a red dress. The cast of Roots was moved to be honored. Robert Duvall accepted the award. He thanked his wife and many others.
