Emmy Awards: Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series - Jaime Pressly

While there are six nominees on this list I only have my eye on two of them. Obviously, Ugly Betty’s Vanessa Williams is one of them as the devilish Wilhelmina Slater. The other one is my favorite ‘love to hate’ drunk on Showtime, Celia Hodes, who is played by Elizabeth Perkins. I hated her through the whole season last year so I am hoping that it goes to her. Although some of the scenes with Williams were pretty funny last year, so it’s a tough call.

Thoughts: Jaime’s hair looked classic, but her dress looked like a black carpet bag. It was seriously awful. She sounded hoarse, but she managed to thank many people including the cast of My Name is Earl, her fiancé, her son, and many others. She was crying as she spoke of her son and thanked everyone as she walked off stage.
