I saw news today that the premiere of the new season of America’s Funniest Home Videos would be on ABC at 7PM EST. This marks the 18th season that the show has been on the air and makes it one of the longest running reality style programs in existence. Is it just me or did everyone else think this show was cancelled about 12 years ago? Seriously, the last time I watched this I was waiting to hit puberty and Bob Sagat was the host. Wow. I think I just made myself feel older with that one…
This year the show will be offering something new to winners. Apparently, there will be one show winner and one online winner that get to choose a magical vacation to one of ten destinations including Spain, France, Italy, Costa Rica, and other amazing spots.
It almost makes me want to juice up my camera and catch my brother with his pants down. On second thought…maybe not. I wouldn’t want to share my trip with him when I won.
