Amy Winehouse might claim to be cleaning up her act, but it’s clear that her problems are following her whether she likes it or not. Recently Winehouse was denied a US Visa and the reason cited has been her recent arrest for possession of marijuana in Norway. Now Winehouse’s daddy is saying that even though Amy was planning to fly to the states next week she won’t be coming due to lack of visa. He told This Morning that Amy swears the drugs were not hers, but that she signed a form that she thought was a release form, but was apparently an admission of guilt.
Mitch Says:
“It belonged to someone else on the tour. They arrested Blake, Amy, and the person who was responsible. They only released them after they signed a form, which they were told was a release form. It was in Norwegian. It was actually a confession so this is being dealt with now by the Norwegian authorities and the British Consulate because the ramifications of that are that she now can’t get into the States.”

Las Vegas will party with one less boozehound this season. Apparently, when Lindsay Lohan said she wasn’t looking forward to hosting that party at Pure in Las Vegas that meant she wasn’t going to host a party in Las Vegas.
Originally, Lindsay was scheduled to host her 21st birthday at Pure, but she backed out of that. When she backed out she was obligated to hold a shindig for the club thanks to contractual issues. They chose New Years Eve and everyone has been talking about how Lindsay would handle things, being on the wagon an all.
Now it’s being announced that she’s just not going to bother, contracts be damned! Lindsay’s rep has told the press that, “Lindsay will no longer be hosting New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas.” The rep mentioned the reasons for backing out as being the continuing need to “focus on her work and sobriety.”

Jon Weece of Southland Christian Church leads over 8,000 members of his congregation in Kentucky. This brave soul believes that he can help Britney Spears and so can all of his loyal Christian church members. In a sermon and on his blog, Weece said, “Take a few minutes and write a note to Britney Spears. No preaching. No criticizing. Just Love. As a church, let’s love Britney the way Jesus loves her.”
Weece states that one of the things that motivated him was how he read damaging headlines concerning Britney. He stated that, “in the world’s eyes, she’s young, beautiful, talented, successful…”
It seems amazing to me that if the world sees her as all these things why would she have negative headlines at all? Shouldn’t we be worshipping her? We should all send her email saying how great her hat looks or how you can tell her weave is recycled from shag carpet.
