The Green Bay Packers and their legendary, three-time MVP quarterback, Brett Favre, have parted ways after 16 victorious seasons and a Superbowl title.  It has been only 24 hours since the official announcement of Favre’s trade to the New York Jets, and all the hype and anticipation is simply unbelievable! Even Farve’s newest green #4 jersey is selling like crazy and it’s only preseason!

The Jets’ chairman and chief executive officer, Woody Johnson, released a statement about Farve saying, “He represents a significant addition to this franchise and reflects our commitment to putting the best possible product on the field.” I don’t suppose the Jet’s humiliating 4-12 season last year has anything to do with all the excitement… The veteran GB could not be in a better position, and if he can’t do better than 4-12 record, perhaps it’s time to just call it quits gramps…
