Amy Winehouse might be seeking help again. Her mother-in-law is absolutely delighted that the singer has canceled the rest of her tour in the UK because she believes it is one of the first steps needed to push Winehouse in the right direction to get help for her “rumored” addiction problems.

After Winehouse’s management team announced she wouldn’t be upholding her concert obligations throughout the rest of 2007, Georgette Civil, the mother of Winehouse’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, let England’s Daily Mail know exactly how relieved she was that Winehouse had canceled her tour. She stated it was the best thing that could happen for Amy.

Georgette went on to say that Winehouse needed to be put into rehab where she believed Winehouse could be persuaded to get the help she needs. She believes that the only way that Winehouse will get over her addiction is to be left alone and given the time as well as the encouragement to get past her problems.

Currently, Civil’s son, Blake, is in prison awaiting trial in Pentonville. Of Blake’s absence and Winehouse’s state of mind, the Daily Mail reported her as saying:

While Kiefer Sutherland will be spending more than a few days in the slammer for his DUI conviction, pop princess Lo Ho is completing her “plea deal” community service. I’d much rather have Kiefer out helping people then Lo Ho, but the judge in her case must have felt sorry for her since she’s been in and out of rehab more times then I can count. For someone so young, Lo Ho has really put Drew Barrymore and other former child star, drug addicts to shame. I mean, most of them got clean after one rehab stint. Lo Ho is in and out so much she should just move into a facility for good and call it a day.

Of course, Lindsay’s former junkie boyfriend, Riley Giles, who she stole from Bree Tierney (who claims the two were engaged before Lo Ho came along) has been helping her through all the cravings. They go clubbing to forget about the drugs and partying. Sounds like the perfect solution to me. It just means the two are on a one way trip back to rehab. Still, with Giles as Lo Ho’s current flavor of the month, we’ll see how long he lasts. You never know. Junkies like to flock together, so this pairing couldn’t be more perfect.

Nevertheless, Lindsay has started her community service. She’s worked at the LA Red Cross as a volunteer. I don’t know if this was the 1st or 10th day of community service for Lo Ho. So, if you were planning to give blood, I’d be careful if you live in LA. I am not sure what they are having her do, but I can’t see anyone giving a junkie a needle. Sure, they know how to use them, but taking blood and putting something in the vein isn’t really the same thing. At least not in my book.

Let’s face it Britney has so much news going on lately that it’s nearly impossible to keep up with it all. Rather than try to give you 600 posts on all of the stupid things she has done today I am going to narrow it down and fill you in on a little bit of everything.

Blackout News
It was big news that Britney debuted second only behind the Eagles for her newest CD, Blackout. The CD sold 290,000 copies in the first week, but as the second week is about to come to an end she has not even approached 100,000 copies. On Amazon she is 30 on the Top 100. This is the last of Britney’s worries though because when Alicia Keys CD comes out tomorrow no one will even remember Britney’s name.

Last week, Splash Online shot a video of Britney running a red light while sending a text message with the kids and monitor in the car. Kevin Federline’s attorney has requested that video to show that Britney is an unfit parent. This makes perfect sense because the failed drug test, the missing drug tests, the bad performances, the leaving your kids in the car to shop, and the multiple other things just aren’t enough proof. Mickey Rourke was popped on a DUI in Miami early this morning riding a soft blue Vespa. Mickey was traveling (on a scooter) with a girl that left with him after living it up at Mansion. Apparently, Mickey made a U-turn, cut off a cop, and that was that.

The Palm Beach Post Says:
“They came back out two hours later and crossed Washington Avenue to go to his scooter,” Montana said. “They both got on it, and he did a U-turn to go north. He was pulled over within a block.

“The cop says to him: ‘You swerved right in front of me.’ And Mickey answered: ‘No, no, dude, I’m all right.’”

Actually, according to the arrest report, Rourke also let out a four-letter bomb when he was stopped. Cops say the actor had a flushed face and bloodshot and watery eyes and that his speech was slurred.

Of all of the arrests that have come through in the past year this has got to be the stupidest. It’s certainly not the most damaging, harmful, or violent. It’s just plain stupid. Shia LaBeouf best known for his blockbuster hit, Transformers, was arrested at 2:30 AM Sunday morning at Walgreens on Michigan Avenue in Chicago.

LaBeouf was arrested because he refused to leave the store. Apparently, homeboy was drunk and a guard asked him to leave because of his drunkenness. Due to the fact that he wouldn’t leave the guard held him and called the cops.

The police said that LaBeouf was “very courteous and polite.” Bond was posted for him before 7 AM this morning. The charge was a misdemeanor for criminal trespassing. He is due in court on November 28.

Las Vegas will party with one less boozehound this season. Apparently, when Lindsay Lohan said she wasn’t looking forward to hosting that party at Pure in Las Vegas that meant she wasn’t going to host a party in Las Vegas.

Originally, Lindsay was scheduled to host her 21st birthday at Pure, but she backed out of that. When she backed out she was obligated to hold a shindig for the club thanks to contractual issues. They chose New Years Eve and everyone has been talking about how Lindsay would handle things, being on the wagon an all.

Now it’s being announced that she’s just not going to bother, contracts be damned! Lindsay’s rep has told the press that, “Lindsay will no longer be hosting New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas.” The rep mentioned the reasons for backing out as being the continuing need to “focus on her work and sobriety.”

Kfed’s new girlfriend, lover, or whatever she is, (former Playmate) Nicole Narain, recently spoke at length with News of the World. Apparently she wanted to get some things off her chest. Most of those things had to do with Britney. She wanted to tell the world about how destructive Britney is and why Kevin fears for his children.

Nicole starts by saying that Kevin has said:
“She’s lost all grasp on reality and is dragging the children through hell. Her mood swings are now so wild that I live in fear of getting a call telling me that she has killed herself. I can’t allow her to have custody because I seriously believe she could harm our sons. I’ve shared her life and I know she’s capable of anything with pills and a few drinks inside her.”

Amy Winehouse is finally getting the fact that her behavior is a little bit destructive. Recently, when speaking with a German magazine, Stern, she spoke of her overdose, saying, “I really thought I was on the way out. My husband Blake saved my life, brought me into the hospital. Often I don’t know what I do. Then the next day the memory returns. Blake told me later what had happened and then I was engulfed in shame.”

When she spoke of getting out of the hospital she commented on how she recently saw pictures and did not even recognize herself.

She went on to speak of her childhood:

“Since I was 16, I’ve felt a black cloud hangs over me. I have taken pills for depression but they slowed me down. I believe there are lots of people who have these mood changes.”

Does Michael Lohan ever shut his mouth? I mean seriously. The only reason anyone talks to him is because he’s Lindsay’s former junkie father. Of course, with his new God peddling ways I am beginning to think he moved from cocaine to crack.

Extra spoke to Michael as he wanted to promote “GodMen” his faith based event. Of course, before long the interview turned to Lindsay. Isn’t that what everyone who discusses religion talks about? Michael had plenty to say about Lindsay, Riley, and even some words about Dina, too.

On Lindsay:
“All I’ll say is that she’s in the right place in her heart and mind and soul,” He goes on to say, “I feel blessed by being back in her life. I feel blessed that she’s back on the right path, that she’s found the right place in her life. She’s a blessed kid.”

The people from the former Lost star Michelle Rodriquez’s camp are saying that it’s not fair that the star is going to jail for 180 days for a probation violation. The celebrity was supposed to do community service and turned in fraudulent paperwork claiming to have wrapped up the service when she was actually in another state. As a result, she has been remanded to a period of jail time. Recently, she just passed a drug test that tested for ten substances and alcohol. As she passed there is now a campaign (by her people) to try to stop her jail sentence.

Free Michelle:
“There is no lesson that Michelle Rodriguez could learn in 180 days that she couldn’t learn in 18, or even 8. We do not believe that the imprisonment of this woman is a demonstration of justice nor a fair punishment for her crimes. She is a good person,” says the petition directed to Rodriguez’s judge in the case.

Ever since the crack princess cleaned up her act, her old fans have been waiting for that first performance. Fans want to know if she still has what it takes, though it’s likely something good was destroyed when she was on the junk. Houston apparently is not in any rush to get behind the mic to belt out any tunes.

She tricked an entire crowd of her fans last week according to Page Six. Houston arrived on stage at the Prince’s Trust event in London. People were expecting her to sing, but that wasn’t in the cards.

There really should be a rule that if you’re going to go to rehab for two months that you have to try and at least spend…two weeks sober. Unfortunately, when it’s Friday night on the outside and you’re in Utah what else are you gonna do than get blitzing drunk at the nearest bar?

If you’re from Utah you might have other alternatives, but apparently Lindsay Lohan couldn’t think of anything better to do.

E! News Says:

“According to some Utah locals, Lindsay was spotted at a Park City club Friday night. And despite her two-month stint in rehab, our bar witness thought Linds looked less than refreshed.”

This is nice speak for “the bitch was drunk off her…socks”…Yeah…that’s it.
