Amy Winehouse and her husband are no longer in St. Lucia at the Jade Mountain Resort, but when they were, their hotel room was searched on a daily basis. The staff made sure that the couple was not using drugs in the hotel room of the exclusive resort.

A Sun Magazine source said that security began doing spot searches after guests reported “strange smells” coming from the room of the couple. The source also said, “They would have been kicked out if there was evidence of drug use.”

While they may not have found anything, you would think that the bloody vomit session was enough to question what the rocker was doing. I figure either she ate some bad seafood or she had her drugs hidden somewhere the hotel wasn’t looking. Where that spot is, I’m not even willing to speculate.

When you’re in rehab and you are trying to kick a cocaine and alcohol habit what is the first thing that comes to your mind? Your hair, duh! Obviously, nothing could be worse than having pictures taken of you that were unflattering. While this might not be what you think. It is apparently what Lindsay Lohan thinks because celebrity hairdresser Ken Paves is sending someone out to Utah to do Lindsay’s extensions, according to Page Six.

Lindsay wants to be sure that she looks good in case anyone takes any sneaky pictures of her while she is in rehab.

Hey Lindsay, just between you and me….there isn’t a rehab picture in your arsenal that can make you look worse than your mug shot. So, just keep your head up and get better. After all, you need to prepare for your five minute jail sentence.

I don’t know about you, but boy it sure makes me chuckle when you hear Courtney Love say someone is more screwed up than she used to be (or is, for that matter). However, that is exactly what is happening. When it comes to rocker, Amy Winehouse, Love is claiming that the troubled singer is the biggest drug user in the music industry. In fact, Love claims shock at the amount of drugs that Amy has taken.

According to Love, “I’ve never seen anyone take as much coke as Amy. Even I wasn’t that bad.” Isn’t that cute, the way that she put it?

Just yesterday I was reporting that Amy Winehouse was ready to give up her days in rehab and her night’s of partying with horses for a new life with a baby. Today, The Mirror is reporting about a disgusting mess that Winehouse created in her Caribbean hotel room this week.

The Mirror reports that there was blood and vomit all over the bathroom of Winehouse’s room at the Jade Mountain Resort in St. Lucia, where the couple has been staying for over a week. A staff member is quoted as saying, “There was blood and vomit all over the bathroom. It was just terrible. It looked like she’d been sick many times. There was blood mixed up in the vomit. It was sickening. They were horrified by the state of the room which looked like a bomb had hit it.”

The hotel management attempted to be as diplomatic as possible by offering to send out for a doctor, but Winehouse declined saying she would be fine. Meanwhile, Winehouse and her inability to hold her drugs and alcohol caused part of the hotel to shut down for a brief while when she vomited on a sofa in the resort’s restaurant.

When I was a kid my mom told me that people often made others look bad to make themselves feel better. This definitely explains the supreme popularity of shows like the Jerry Spinger Show. Well, now VH1 is taking things one step further. You’ve seen reality television for newlyweds, child stars, washed up celebrities, and man-banders. Now, you get to see celebrities in rehab. What could be better in reality television than that?

One of the confirmed stars for VHI’s new series is going to be Jessica Sierra from American Idol. Sierra is in a California rehab facility currently. There are some others that are rumored to sign up. Amongst the names on the list are Andy Dick, Tom Sizemore, and Chyna.

Nothing could be finer than being offered a Teen Choice Award. However, on Sunday there was meant to be another category that didn’t make the list thanks to a group of party poopers that were not accepting of their nominations. The category was known as Newsmakers of the Year!

The category included Paris for going to jail, Lindsay for one of her DUIs, Britney for shaving her head, Sanjaya Malakar for wearing a faux Mohawk and being unable to sing, and Larry Birkhead for the Dannielynn custody drama.

Birkhead was told that the category had been scraped just two days before the awards. Rumor has it that the three tarts didn’t like the idea of the category and after much complaining from their publicists, Fox got rid of the category.

Amy Winehouse is becoming more popular than Paris Hilton these days. Alright, well maybe not, but she’s definitely the cause of more interesting news. Today this news comes from Amy’s in laws. Blake’s parents want you and all other Winehouse listeners to boycott the singer’s music. The goal is to send the message that her obvious addiction is not okay and that her behavior is not excusable.

Blake’s parents, Giles and Georgette Fielder-Civil were on Five Live, a BBC Radio show this morning. They spoke about how they believe Amy and Blake are both addicted to drugs. They feel the couple are in denial about their addictions and fear that they will not stop their behavior. Georgette said that Blake would be upset with her for speaking out publically about the couple’s issues, but she heard that they will not get help.

Once the toilets are clean and the therapy sessions are over, what is there to do in rehab? One possible option is sex! At least, that’s the idea if you’re Lindsay Lohan. Of course, I could be all wrong. She could have been celebrating her nearly non-existant jail sentence and lack of felonies by showering love on the closest junkie she could find (good thing she’s in rehab!)

Lohan was caught, presumably with her pants down, having sex in the bathroom of the Cirque Lodge, the rehab center where Lohan has been getting clean…and dirty from the sounds of things. The staff went into the bathroom because they heard moaning sounds. When they walked in, they found Lohan having sex with a male patient who is in for drug abuse.

Sources claim that they opened the door and saw Lindsay, “in a compromising position with the guy.” The source also mentioned that the man was good looking and, “just what Lindsay likes.” Rumors being what they may, it’s said that gossip is flying around the Center about Lohan and her nightly bathroom activities.

While it may be hard to believe, sources of the Star Magazine are reporting that Owen Wilson was hospitalized this evening in Santa Monica, California. Apparently, based on what the magazine was told by sources, Wilson was found by a family member who called for help.

The supposed method of suicide included slashes to his left wrist and taking an undetermined amount of pills in hopes of overdosing. Both police and ambulance responded to calls to Wilson’s house around 12 PM on Sunday. According to sources, his wrist has been sutured and bandaged and he should be fine.

Based on reports Wilson was set to be transferred from the hospital where he will be going into detox. Wilson’s condition was listed as serious when he was taken in and some family arrived to be with him. Others at the scene were the police and a criminal defense attorney.

Say Goodbye to Anchorwoman

Anchorwoman has been cancelled after just one episode, though after hearing my mother complain about how stupid this show actually was, it comes as no surprise. Apparently, she wasn’t the only one to hate this new concept. Anchorwoman received a 1.0 rating in the adult demographic. FOX must have opted to cut their losses while they could.

On the off chance you were a fan of the show, you can see the rest of the episodes through Fox On Demand. The show was labeled as a comedy/reality series about a dippy swimsuit model and former WWE diva who transforms to become an anchorwoman for a tiny station in Texas with poor ratings. While it was a reality show, it obviously wasn’t popular enough to beat out reruns. Until the fall season begins, the Anchorwoman time slot (Wednesdays 8PM) will contain old episodes of Til Death.

Earlier it was reported that Lindsay Lohan has dodged every one of her felony convictions. Next it was reported by People that Lohan would serve a whopping 24 hours in jail for her misdemeanor DUI convictions.

You might be thinking that is not enough. However, D.A. Danette Meyer is saying that Lohan is not being treated any differently under the law. The law in California states a minimum of 4 days in jail. She will serve one and she is being credited for a day that she already was in jail (though I do not recall if she was in jail for an actual full day). The other two days are being converted to 10 days of community service, as everyone feels that would be more beneficial. She will also serve three years probation. She has until January 2008 to serve her one day jail sentence.

A few days ago we mentioned that it was reported that Lindsay Lohan was probably going to skirt by without any felonies from her DUI and cocaine possession arrests. TMZ was at the courthouse when the decision was announced. Instead of the felonies, which could have sent her to prison, she received seven misdemeanor counts.

Lindsay’s seven counts included two counts of driving under the influence, two counts of driving with a blood-alcohol level over 0.08 percent, two counts of being under the influence of cocaine, and one count of reckless driving.

Apparently, several things worked in Lindsay’s factor. According to the D.A. there was not enough cocaine found to warrant a felony and the methods with which the cocaine was seized were questionable. Other things that helped Lindsay include a poor family upbringing, her age, the fact that she was busted so close together, and the fact that she checked into rehab immediately after being caught both times.

In a bit of drunken celebrity news, Mel Gibson has pleased the Judge dealing with his DUI case. Today’s hearing was a progress hearing so Mel was not expected to appear. Instead, he had his lawyer in attendance who handled things for him. Consequently, his lawyer is Blair Berk, who is also Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer (are we seeing a trend here?)

Berk submitted paperwork showing that Gibson has completed Alcoholic’s Anonymous meetings for the last 18 weeks. He has also paid all necessary fines. With this in mind, the judge has switched the AA meetings to voluntary status. Despite the ruling, Mel has another court date in February and will need to be present at that time.

News is everywhere about Lindsay Lohan these days. There is the average news about her cleaning toilets and drinking Gatorade while she seeks help in the Cirque Lodge in Utah and then there is the more disturbing news, which could get her into more trouble.

OK Magazine is reporting that an unidentified caller had a Lindsay sighting to report to Utah’s 97.1 FM on Wednesday morning. However, this caller wasn’t calling to talk about Lohan shopping for sunglasses or walking the dogs at the Lodge. This caller said that he spotted Lohan buying beer at a local store.

According to the caller, Lohan and a large man walked into a Maverik convenience store in Orem, Utah last night and proceeded to purchase some Miller Lite. Lohan was reportedly approached for autographs though she told the fans that now was not a good time. If it was her, I’m sure it wasn’t the right time.
