Chris Benoit went out with a bang earlier this summer when he knocked off his wife and son and then committed suicide, but his father is talking out in an attempt to explain what he thinks might have happened. One of the main theories is that the massive amount of steroids pumping through Benoit’s blood caused him to go into a rage and kill his family.

Michael Benoit believes that it could have been the effect of multiple concussions rather than the steroids that caused the wrestler to kill his family. Benoit, who spoke with Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America, said that after the death he submitted a portion of the wrestler’s brain to Julian Bailes, a neurologist that works with The Sports Legacy Institute. According to Bailes, Benoit’s tissue presented damage that is similar to an Alzheimer’s patient. This suggests that he could have been suffering from a type of dementia. It is believed, at least by his father, that the dementia could have made him snap and kill his family.

Shaquille O’Neal filed divorce papers on Tuesday claiming that his marriage to his wife Shaunie is, “irretrievably broken.” The Miami Herald reports that the basketball player also accuses his current wife of being shady with his money. Together the couple have four children and they both have an additional child from previous relationships. They were married in 2002 and according to TMZ, Shaq made Shaunie sign a pre-nup, which isn’t a bad idea considering his contract with the Miami Heat is set to offer him $100 Million in cash.

O’Neal stated that his wife is secretive about her assets and wants to investigate all of the money that she came into during their marriage. When it comes to the kids, O’Neal wants them to live with their momma but is asking for liberal visitation rights.

“I obviously made a bad choice of words. Everyone who knows me understands that I hold no prejudices in this regard,” Lewis said in a statement. “The success of the (telethon) and all the good that will come from it shouldn’t be lost because of one unfortunate word. I accept responsibility for what I said. There are no excuses. I am sorry.”

When Michael Vick stood up on August 28 to give a press conference it was expected that he would say he was wrong and he was sorry. After all, the day before he pleaded guilty to dog fighting charges and he wanted to seem sincere. Now it’s likely that he’s learned one thing from this event. The lesson is that when you leave a podium you should take your cheat sheet with you.

Vick had six options according to his cheat sheet including.

1. Apologize for what I’ve done
2. Apologize to coach and team
3. Tell young kids that “I acted immature”
4. Ask for forgiveness and understanding
5. Take full responsibility for actions
6. Remind others that we all make mistakes

So, Kim Kardashian did the fashionable thing and made a sex tape. It would be old news if she’d quit talking about it. However, now she wants people to know the truth. Yes she and Ray-J were doing it on tape, but she did not, I mean absolutely not…pee on him. The girl has standards, you know.

Reports have suggested that during the sex tape there were some freaky moments and crazy acts, but Kardashian says there is nothing there but regular sex. She goes on to say, “People were saying derogatory things (like) someone was getting urinated on. This hasn’t happened in my entire lifetime.”

That was sort of open ended. I wonder if she means, so far. She goes on to say, “I’m not knocking anyone else, but I’ve never personally participated in that. I think it’s degrading.”

While I am not one to watch The View, from time to time, I pick up bits and pieces of information that has been said on the show. Today, Whoopi Goldberg, the new moderator of the show, decided to talk about Michael Vick and his impending dog fighting charges. Rather than claim what he did was wrong, Goldberg defended his actions.

The defense is due to the fact that dog fighting is more common in the South. Goldberg likens it to cock fighting in Puerto Rico, saying, “There are certain things that are indicative to certain parts of the country.”

Joy and the others were shocked that Goldberg could defend a person who led a dog fighting ring on his property and has even admitted to helping in the killing of up to eight pit bulls. However, Goldberg explains that dogs are not pets to all people. She explains that for some, dogs are a sport.

It was time for Diddy’s annual White Party recently and other than moving it from St. Tropez to the East Hamptons not much has changed. The rules are still strict and he’s not afraid to show you the door if you aren’t going to follow his rules. The one major rule that is not to be broken is fairly obvious. You must wear all white to the white party.

This year’s white party saw a bit of a snafu for wife of Billy Joel and the host of Top Chef, Katie Joel. Apparently Joel arrived at the party and rather than white she was wearing cream. It was requested that Joel change her outfit before she could enter the party. She ended up leaving without getting a chance to enter.

Hulk Hogan got all emotional as he spoke about the crash that left Nick without a car and John Graziano in the hospital’s ICU. In an interview with ET, he said that when he first saw the wreck he didn’t think anybody was alive. He doubted that anyone could make it out of a wreck like that. So far, son Nick is out of the woods. Now, everyone is standing by to find out if John will be alright.

Hogan states in the interview that when he drove to the crash site, he did not know his son was involved in the very beginning. He was driving to meet the boys at a restaurant when he saw the scene and went to find out what happened.

“As I was going down our normal route to the restaurant, I saw this yellow car and it happened to be twisted…and there were ambulances there and police were there, and – BAM – it was my car” says Hogan.

Supermodel Gisele Bundechen isn’t looking to make any good impressions on her man’s baby mama, Bridget Moynahan. Recently, the sexy Brazilian model, who is dating Tom Brady, went shopping for his new son. One of the stops that Bundechen made was to Petit Tresor, one of the trendiest children’s shops in Los Angeles. She had then ship gifts to Moynahan for the baby.

One of the most notable parts of the $1,000 gift bag that she sent Moynahan was a simple little onesie. The onesie was special, with the word Supermodel written across it. Definitely an interesting choice for a boy to wear, but perhaps Bundechen wanted to leave Moynahan with one last reminder. The first reminder, of course, came when Brady left the pregnant Moynahan to take up a relationship with the supermodel.

Bobby Brown did not have his usual criminal happy face on as he went into court today in hopes of receiving partial custody of his daughter with Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kris. Brown appeared in Orange County Superior Court, hoping to make the right impression. TMZ is reporting that Brown looked sharp in a dark suit and red tie.

He was in court to fight the original judgment that granted Whitney Houston a divorce from Brown and gave her sole custody of their 14 year old daughter. Brown did not have comments for reporters that looked for statements from the former pop-singer that is better known for his alleged drug habits than he is his days with New Edition.

Bridget Moynahan might have had a baby with Tom Brady, but that doesn’t mean that she likes him anymore. While Brady did fly out for the birth of his baby, sources are saying that he wasn’t in the room for the birth because Moynahan doesn’t want anything to do with him. Molly Good has sources that claim that Tom was only allowed to see the baby for a short while and that Bridget would not see him.

The MG sources say, “He was only allowed to come after the baby was born. The woman would not see him, period. And she gave the baby her last name. Tom is waiting to find out when he can see the little guy again. Bridget is not giving him any slack on this at all.”

You would think a new mother would have better things to do than be bitter. Of course, we all handle break ups with our baby daddy, and new supermodels that they are dating, in different ways.

Chicago White Sox player Jim Thome and wife Andrea will be having another baby. This is the couple’s second child and according to reports, the child will be a boy. The couple has a four year old girl, Lila Grace. Their son is due in November.

BindiWear Coming to a Store near You
The lovely Bindi Irwin is planning to do her father proud. The eldest child of the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, is planning to launch a clothing line for children. The line, known as BindiWear will include shoes, jumpers, sleepwear, swimwear, bags, hats, and T-shirts. The clothing and other products are being created to offer kids a message. The proceeds will go to the Australia Zoo Conservation program. The clothing is being made with recycled products.
