I don’t get the whole “Hannah Montana” craze, nor do I think Miley Cyrus can even sing that well. I guess she’s helped to revive her father’s career, but that’s about it. Still, she has become the New Kids on the Block of the 21st century and we all know what happens to the NKOTB type of crazes. Let’s just hope Miley comes out of this with a little more sense then the boys from Boston did.

The first thing that has been going on in Miley’s life is pregnancy rumors. After the Vanessa Hudgens drama, wouldn’t this just be the icing on the cake for Disney? The overtly Christian Miley set the record straight saying she isn’t pregnant. She wants to live her life as she should and that means she will remain pure. We all know what those purity pledge signers mean by pure (with most of them having anal and oral sex since that isn’t real sex anyway right?) so Miley’s purity comment doesn’t warm my heart the way it should. That’s not to say she isn’t being truthful, but the truth has been stretched before right?

Still, it’s good to know that someone as young as Miley isn’t pregnant and if she is, she’s holding out longer then J Lo and going on tour. Nevertheless, these rumors are just that…rumors. That being said, what isn’t a rumor is Miley’s fan club drama. The teen queen seems to be having a problem with her fan club, Mileyworld, getting sued because members claim they were promised access to concert tickets, just by paying the $29.95 access fee to the fan club.

Lee Weaver has been the bodyguard to people like Wesley Snipes and Robert Downey Jr., and for a year he was the bodyguard for the gene-challenged 20-something, Lindsay Lohan. Part of his duties as bodyguard was to just follow Lohan around. After all, that’s what bodyguards do. This meant he got to hang out in Nightclubs and watch the 5 time rehabber party. However, even with the big names he has worked for Weaver found Lohan too much to handle. Now he has decided it’s time to talk and has taken his story to Inside Edition.

In an exclusive interview with Inside Edition, Weaver tells the interviewer that Lohan felt responsible for her father going to prison. He goes on to say that he often had to accompany the singer to dangerous neighborhoods early in the evenings (or late at night). Despite this he says he never saw Lohan ingest drugs.

All of these teenage nude photos are making me nervous! Add in the fact that they are sent by stars of Disney to Nick actors and we have all kinds of trouble. Vanessa Hudgens is one of the stars of High School Musical and she has been the primary source of trouble recently, due to some nude photos of her that were leaked onto the Internet. Vanessa is 18, so other than the natural ick factor, it’s not a big deal for us. Long story short, she apologized and Disney claimed she had a lapse in judgment but all is well.

Moving on, we find out there is much more to this story than meets the eye.

Now it has come out that the photos were taken before she was famous. This means the photos were likely taken when she was 14-16 (this means stop looking at them, you pedophiles)! The pictures, which the star admits and claims to be embarrassed by, were supposedly taken and given to Nickelodeon star Drake Bell of the hit television show, Drake and Josh.

Buddy Sheffield has filed a lawsuit claiming that the comedy show for children, Hannah Montana, is actually his concept, but that Disney never compensated him for his idea. The lawsuit is claiming breach of contract, unfair competition, breach of confidence, and unjust enrichment.

According to Sheffield, he pitched an idea to Disney back in 2001. The idea of the show was about a student in junior high who lived a secret life as a rock star. The lawsuit claims that while Disney did originally like the idea they eventually passed on it.

These days, Hanna Montana, which stars Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus, is about virtually the same concept (a teen who leads a secret life as a hit pop recording artist) and has become a hit. The show has produced a number of hit CDs and plenty of merchandise. Sheffield wants a part of the money pot for himself.

Family Reunion in Rehab
Dina and Grandma headed to Utah to see Lindsay in rehab. Currently, Lindsay is located in Utah’s Cirque Lodge, where she has a strict schedule that includes cleaning toilets, cleaning her room, and therapy sessions. Dina and crew have come on the day that the news should be announced about whether Lindsay will get out of her felonies or not. Here’s hoping that if she does get off they just celebrate on beef jerky and Gatorade rather than the alternatives.

Diamond Heiress Makes up with Hotel Heiress
Jury selection was set to begin today in a case against Paris Hilton. Diamond heiress Zeta Graff was planning on suing Paris for claims that she slandered Graff. According to the story, Paris told the NY Post that Zeta ripped a necklace off Paris’ body. Jury selection was called off as the case was settled yesterday though no word was given on if money changed hands, and if so, how much.

Season six American Idol winner Jordin Sparks has just signed a record contract with Jive Records. The contract was part of Sparks’ winnings from being on the reality talent competition. The contract is in conjunction with Idol creator Simon Fuller’s 19Recordings.

Sparks will release her debut album sometime in November. Until then, you can catch her newest single, Tattoo, when it hits the airwaves on August 27. Sparks cannot wait to begin the new chapter of her life and she looks forward to sharing it with her fans. Sparks is not only one of the bubbliest contestants; she’s also the youngest to win the show in all previous seasons.
