Mother of Tears is the third movie in The Mother trilogy by Dario Argento. While I haven’t seen or even heard of the other two movies, I am definitely considering looking them up now. This seems like just the kind of over the top horror that I love. You get to see Asia Argento in this one, as well. Not only that but people get set on fire, people threaten to eat a girl, there’s tons of blood, and that’s not even the half of it! So, if it sounds like something you’d like the trailer awaits you. If not, run while you still can!

Upcoming Movie: Beowulf Trailer
September 8th, 2007 — Videos, Trailers, Brangelina News, Movie News
Admittedly, like most people I was intrigued by the idea of seeing Angelina Jolie emerge from a lake covered in dripping gold and absolutely nothing else. So, I clicked, like I am sure many others will. However, the trailer looks pretty decent. If you are into the whole fantasy, CGI-effects thing you will love this movie. If you’re not, well, you still get to see Angelina Jolie naked and dripping with gold. So, either way there is something for everyone.

Fans Still Love Chris Benoit, Even if He is a Murderer
August 25th, 2007 — Videos, Trailers, Celebuskanks, Family Drama
It’s hard to believe but there are still crazy fans who are on Chris Benoit’s side. He only murdered his wife and son after all…or maybe he didn’t even though all evidence seems to point towards him and nothing has been proven to the contrary. Regardless, here’s a new tribute to Benoit. Make sure to leave your thoughts on this one in the comment section.
Video: Reservation Road Trailer
August 25th, 2007 — Videos, Trailers, Movie News
Reservation Road is a new movie starring Joaquin Phoenix, Jennifer Connelly, and Elle Fanning. It is based on the critically acclaimed novel of the same name that was written by John Burnham Schwartz. Directed by Terry George of Hotel Rwanda, Reservation Road is a tale of anger, courage, and revenge. The story involves two fathers and follows their families as their lives come together.
College professor Ethan Learner (Joaquin Phoenix), his wife Grace (Jennifer Connelly), and their daughter Emma (Elle Fanning) are attending a recital. Their 10-year-old son Josh (Sean Curley) is playing cello. On the way home, they stop at a gas station on Reservation Road. There, in one instant, he is taken from them forever.
In a similar situation, law associate Dwight Arno (Mark Ruffalo) and his 11-year-old son Lucas (Eddie Alderson) are attending a baseball game. The Red Sox are playing and hopefully heading for the World Series. As Dwight drives his son back home to his ex-wife, Lucas’ mother Ruth Wheldon (Mira Sorvino), Dwight heads towards his fateful encounter at Reservation Road.
New Jesse James Trailer Starring Brad Pitt
August 23rd, 2007 — Videos, Trailers, Actors, Movie News
If you’ve been waiting for a look at one of Brad Pitt’s new movies, a trailer was just released for The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Starring Pitt as Jesse James and Casey Affleck as Robert Ford this is anything but your typical Western. The trailer offers a somber look at what appears to be another good Pitt movie.
This is just one of many new Pitt movies that are either ready to go, filming, or in the works. The other movies include The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (which also stars daughter Shiloh in her first role), State of Play, Dirty Tricks, Chad Schmidt, and Dallas Buyer’s Club. Pitt is currently filming Burn After Reading with fellow stars George Clooney, John Malkovich, and Frances McDormand.
The Nines Trailer & Synopsis
August 15th, 2007 — Videos, Trailers, Actresses, Actors, Movie News
The Nines, a new movie starring Ryan Reynolds and Elle Fanning consists of three short films. The one thing that each film has in common is that each film features the same actors in different and sometimes overlapping, roles.
“The Prisoner” tells the story of a troubled television star (Ryan Reynolds) who finds himself under house arrest. His chipper publicist (Melissa McCarthy) and a disillusioned next-door neighbor (Hope Davis) are his only links to the outside world. Mysterious events lead him to question whether one or both women are deceiving him about the nature of his incarceration.
“Reality Television” is a half-hour episode of “Behind the Screen,” a Project Greenlight-style documentary series that tracks the process of creating a network television drama. Having shot the pilot, creator Gavin Taylor (also Ryan Reynolds) faces post-production with the help of his best friend (and lead actress) Melissa McCarthy and development VP Susan Howard (Hope Davis).
The Invasion is Coming!
August 14th, 2007 — Videos, Trailers, Actresses, Actors, Movie News
I am usually willing to watch just about anything with Nicole Kidman, even the stuff where she looks too thin. As for Daniel Craig…Well, I hear he is good. Either way, when I heard about The Invasion I couldn’t wait to see it. Actually I still can’t. For those who are unaware of the film, it stars Craig and Kidman in a nightmarish journey. The only way to stay alive is to stay awake.
A space shuttle goes down in a strange crash, which leads to a discovery that something alien is in the wreckage. Whoever comes in contact with the alien ends up changing in inexplicable ways. This is where Carol Bennell (Kidman) and Ben Driscoll (Craig) come in. They learn about the aliens and the truth about what is causing the epidemic. The aliens attack the victims while they are sleeping. They leave the victims unchanged but they end up feeling strange and inhuman. The infection continues to spread and more people become impossible to be trusted.
